All persons entering the BVI must have a valid passport with at least six months remaining before the expiry date.

Visas

British Nationals do not need a visa to visit the BVI.


If you are not a British national, you may need a visa to visit the BVI.  Helpful information is available on the Deputy Governor's Office website, or you should contact the BVI Government Visa Unit during office hours.

Travelling with children

Single parents or other adults travelling alone with children should be aware that some countries require documentary evidence of parental responsibility before allowing lone parents to enter the country or, in some cases, before permitting the children to leave the country.
